This collection of short stories from the author's childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood is fast paced and easy to read. The author has lived an amazing life, during difficult times, and he has lived it in a courageous manner. The book is a "page turner." The stories will be inspirational to the young, and they will bring back memories of yesteryear to older folks who lived in the 1930's and the 1940's. I recommend the book without reservation to all, regardless of age, gender, or social circumstances.
