I didn't see a need for Lex Luthor here. He was used as a prop for the Superboy Series and now that we know where Superboy's Clone Donner, it seems he was here just to tease us into thinking the whole Clone thing was heading back to what he was in the DC Universe before the reboot. I like the new story of where Superboy's Donner DNA Came from and am really looking forward to SUperman finding out about it and how he will treat Superboy after he knows the truth. I like H'EL as a Villian and just wished he and Superman could of had more of a one on one battle between them. A lot of the side stories in this series could have been done in future crossovers and had no part in this seriesProduct details

The new 52 Superman started out rough. However since Scott Lobdell has come aboard the stories have improved greatly! The only reason this gets four stars is because there is no Aquaman when the Justice League shows up!
